Bobby Moore's 1970 World Cup shirt (Reverse)

Bobby Moore's 1970 World Cup shirt (Reverse)
The reverse of Bobby Moores worn shirt from the England v Romania group game from the 1970 World cup in Mexico, A white Umbro Airtex short sleeve shirt with crew-neck collar, embroidered England badge to front, No. 6 to rear. Illus. Note: It was during his time at West Ham Bertie Lutton had been recalled to the Northern Ireland team following a break of some 3 years, he asked his Club Mate Bobby Moore at the end of the 1972/3 season if he could swap shirts after the up and coming England match in the Home International Series. Lutton was on the bench for all 3 matches and ended up making appearances against Scotland & Wales but not in the England match. The two players met in the tunnel afterwards but Moore had already swapped his shirt on the pitch. But he promised him a shirt from the World cup 1970. It was not until the players reported for pre season training that Moore gave this shirt to Lutton to make up for the shirt he promised after the England v Ireland match. England played 4 matches during the World Cup Finals 1970. For the Quarter Final match against West Germany England played in red, in the group matches England played in blue for the Czechoslovakian game and recently Moore’s white shirt from the Brazil match was sold at auction. England also played in White for their Opening Match against Romania, defeating the 1-0 with a goal by Hurst. It is Bobby Moore’s shirt from this match we are delighted to offer for sale. It has come directly from Lutton so there is no question of the authenticity. Offers please!
